Really the only reason I can find to treat all the symptoms and not just the final diagnosis (aside from getting all blinking symptoms to stop) is you seem to get higher prestige for the day. The problem with this is, as long as the hidden symptoms aren't flashing and the Final Diagnosis has already been reached, it's completely unnecessary to reveal those hidden symptoms and just wastes time & transfer nurses. I believe they must have orders to keep on ordering exams to reveal absolutely every single hidden symptom even if the Final Diagnosis has already been decided and treated. To speed up the time that they're discharged, I usually leave them on Player Control because otherwise the doctor will order up a bunch of unnecessary exams which seem to delay the point at which they're discharged. If you still don't get the "Send Home" option after treating the Final Diagnosis, that patient simply needs to recover in a hospital bed for awhile, usually until the next morning or maybe the morning after, hard to tell for certain. Just make sure the final diagnosis has been treated (as long as it's active and orange or blue, you've done all you can). Some treatments remain in the orange state and will never change to blue, so that isn't a good indication that they're ready to go home. Really, the only way to know for certain is when the "Send to another hospital" button changes into the "Send Home" button. I look at the "current symptoms" and see the icons have turned black, then I think cool, I'm done. How do you know when the patient is fully treated, like when all the orange icons under "active treatments" stop blinking or when all "active exams" turn black or what? There are no more "available exams" so I dont know waht else to do. I must be doing something entirely wrong then. If you don't want or can't treat their CIPD then you would send them to another hospital instead of sending them home. From the screenshot it looks like you haven't treated their CIPD yet which is why you can't send them home. The button to send them to another hospital turns into the button to send them home once their final diagnosis has been treated. If you can send them to another hospital, you can't send them home. Sending them home is an either/or situation. Originally posted by Oceansize:Based on this screenshot, releasing player control won't allow you to send them home.
